STURGEON BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Police say that a Sturgeon Bay man, arrested in an online child sex sting, has admitted to sexually assaulting multiple children within Door County.
28-year-old Duryea Johnson was taken into custody by undercover officers who posed as a 15-year-old boy online.
Johnson agreed to meet up with the 15-year-old boy for sexual purposes, according to police.
Once in custody, Johnson admitted to viewing and possessing child pornography on his phone and said there are additional victims.
Currently, investigators are working on identifying those children.
Officials seized electronic devices from Johnson’s home through a search warrant.
No formal charges have been filed against Johnson at this time.
