EMMET, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – An ATV crash in Dodge County left one boy with serious life-threatening injuries.
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office was called to the crash Saturday night on County M and Rhine Road in Emmet.
Officials say a 48-year-old man from Watertown was driving an ATV and had a 9-year-old boy as the passenger.
The operator reportedly lost control of the ATV in the intersection, which caused it to roll.
Officials believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
The man had serious non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
The 9-year-old boy was taken to a local hospital, then was flown to Children’s Hospital in Madison.
The case is still under investigation.
