GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – One man was injured, another is in custody after an argument resulted in a stabbing incident Sunday night on Marquette Avenue in Green Bay.
Green Bay Police say it was a fight between brothers. Officers located a male with several stab wounds to his torso and got him to a hospital.
Police say the 29-year-old man who was injured was stabbed several times in the torso, but his wounds are not life-threatening.
“Officers immediately provided first aid and got that victim to a hospital,” said Green Bay Police Commander Kevin Warych.
Police Commander Kevin Warych said they needed K-9 help to apprehend the suspect 30-year-old Michael Fajardo. He says they found him almost a mile away hiding along a fence.
“They learned that the suspect had fled on foot. By having a Brown County K-9 officer respond with his K-9, they were successfully able to track the victim about a mile from where the stabbing took place.”
