WAUSAUKEE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A 64-year-old Marinette man is dead after crashing his motorcycle in Wausaukee Saturday evening.
The Marinette County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened on Perch Lake west of Russ Mainik Rd. just before 7 p.m.
Deputies say a person who saw the crash told them the motorcyclist hit a deer, went off the road, and into some trees.
First responders tried to save the man but he didn’t make it.
The Marinette County Sheriff’s Office says this is the fifth traffic death in the county this year.
