SHAWANO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Shawano Police Department says five teens are suspected of making their way into a home and hurting someone.
Police say when they arrived at a home on the 600 block of S. Maiden Ln., Wednesday, a woman told them a group of teens forced their way into her home, went upstairs, and accosted her grandson.
The boys left the home before police arrived and officers say the woman’s grandson had minor injuries. The incident happened around 10:40 Wednesday night.
The next day, five teens were arrested and taken to a juvenile detention facility.
Police say they arrested two 14-year-old Green Bay boys, a 15-year-old Shawano boy, and two 13-year-old Shawano boys.
A release from the police department says the boys are being referred to social services for burglary, person arms self with a dangerous weapon while still in the burglarized enclosure; robbery, dangerous weapon; disorderly conduct; and, criminal trespass to a dwelling.
