GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Green Bay Metro has announced that it will be offering free, year-round bus routes from downtown Green Bay to Lambeau Field.
The move is in partnership with the Green Bay Packers and will expand their current Green and Gold route operations.
The free routes will begin July 25 and will run each weekday between 5:15 a.m. and 9:45 p.m. and Saturdays from 7:15 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.
Stops will be at Lambeau Field on Lombardi Avenue and the Titletown District on Ridge Road, with buses running every 30 minutes.
“These free bus routes offer fans, visitors to Green Bay and residents with a convenient, affordable transportation option that links Titletown and Lambeau Field with the many attractions downtown,” says Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy. “We’re pleased to continue partnering with Green Bay Metro and we are looking forward to seeing fans utilize this free option.”
A similar route, called the G-Line, ran only during Packers Training Camp in recent years.
For all Packers home games, regular Gameday Routes will continue to Titletown and Lambeau Field.
