UNDATED (WSAU) Wisconsin’s average gas price is down a nickel a gallon. Triple-A Wisconsin says the statewide average for regular is now $2.15, seven-cents below the national average.
The state’s highest prices are in Eau Claire at $2.23, while drivers in Madison have the lowest prices at $2.10.
Spotters for GasBuddy.com have found prices down to $1.95 a gallon in Kenosha. Gas prices are down to $2.05 in Green Bay and Appleton, $2.10 in Wausau, and $2.13 in Sheboygan.
Crude oil continues to hold at $50-a-barrel as OPEC nations struggle to control output amid plentiful inventories. Prices also tend to drop in October and November as refineries change over to less-expensive winter blends of gasoline.
