UNDATED (WSAU) Wisconsin is coming off an eventful day of weather on Monday.
The National Weather Service says a funnel cloud was spotted near Oshkosh. They will also reported in Rosendale, Mequon, and West Bend.
Funnel clouds sometimes develop beneath showers or thunderstorms when the air is cold.
The NWS issued an advisory statement about the potential for funnel clouds, saying that they rarely reach the ground. If they do, they could have winds of up to 50-miles-per-hour. The advisory said, “If a funnel approaches your location, move indoors. Please contact the National Weather Service.”
No touchdowns were confirmed.
