BEAR CREEK, WI (WTAQ) – A pickle manufactured in Bear Creek Wisconsin is in the running to be this year’s Coolest Thing Made In Wisconsin.GLK Foods Oh Snap! Dilly Bites is changing how to eat a pickle.
President Ryan Downs says the bite sized pickle are tasty, packaged well and convenient for on the go.
“We are like, let’s just cut it into bites and we will call it a dilly bite.”
He says the product was an afterthought but rolled out the same time as their first whole pickle products.
“I did not think it would be successful and here that is far and away the best seller.”
Inside the package, there is no brine added so it is mess-free. Downs says they are a hit with children and adults, good for lunches.
The company is expanding. They are building a new location to increase the production of the Oh Snap! line.
“We are building a new plant in Little Chute and that will be for the Oh Snap! line exclusively.”
