KENOSHA, WI (WSAU) The former Dairyland Greyhound Park in Kenosha has a new owner.The old dog racing track was purchased by Los Angeles-based Majestic Realty Company last week. The purchase price was not disclosed.

The facility was most recently known as the Midwest Innovation Center. At one time it was considered for a casino site, which sparked bitter opposition from other casino-operators in the state because of its proximity to the Illinois border. Governor Scott Walker ultimately blocked that proposal.
The property hasn’t been used for dog racing since 2009.
Majestic plans an industrial development on the 228-acre site. A real estate developer says the land is already being marketed to corporations that might be interested in relocating.
