SHAWANO, WI (WTAQ) – A Shawano woman was sentenced to 80 days in jail for passing out marijuana-infused cookies during the St. Patrick’s Day parade in March.
58-year-old Cathleen Krause was sentenced Thursday after entering a no-contest plea to the charges manufacturing and delivering marijuana and marijuana possession.
Three of the charges against Krause were dismissed.
The report states that Krause was attending a parade in the Town of Wescott and a Sheriff’s deputy was notified that cookies that she was handing out had marijuana in them.
The deputy reported that Krause was visually intoxicated and pulled out a bag of crumbs and gummy candy that both tested positive for marijuana.
