GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – New drug charges are expected to be filed against Cassie Nygren.
The 30-year-old daughter of State Representative John Nygren is facing charges for selling drugs to a pregnant woman which resulted in her overdose death.
Nygren was booked on suspicion of manufacturing or delivering amphetamines and delivering illegal items to an inmate.
Sheriff officials indicated that there is another man that is booked in jail that is connected.
Nygren is scheduled for trial in February for her original charges related to the death of Jennifer Skeen.
Nygren’s boyfriend Shawn Gray was also charged in the death and was sentenced to 12 1/2 years in prison earlier.
