FREMONT, WI (WTAQ) – Waupaca County Law Enforcement located a stolen vehicle after tracking down a driver that was driving the wrong way.
Around 2:30 Friday morning, a deputy noticed a vehicle driving the wrong way on Highway 10 in the town of Fremont.
The deputy attempted a traffic stop but the driver refused to pull over and took off.
During the chase, the driver struck a Waupaca County Sheriff’s Department vehicle and was eventually stopped as law enforcement deflated the tires.
It was later learned that the vehicle was stolen from Oshkosh.
