NEENAH, WI (WTAQ) – Neenah Police say they are confident that the community will help them find a suspect from an armed robbery and shooting.
Surveillance video released by the department may not be clear or very lengthy, but Neenah Officer Stuart Zuehls says it can tell a lot.
“You can see how the person moves, mannerisms and physical features.”
He says they are starting to come up with more detailed descriptions of the suspect.
“6 foot 3 or taller, possible face injuries and bald or balding hair, so we hope that kind of narrows it down a little.”
He says any information is helpful and they are following up on leads since Sunday night.
“We are doing everything in our power to get this person apprehended as quickly, safely and efficiently as possible.”
Zuehls says the community can play a big role by sharing what they know, but safety is always the most important.
“Do not put yourself in harm’s way to get near this person. Just try to get us a license plate number or other info.”
He says they feel confident that the right lead will come in.
“We have about 30,000 people in Neenah. There is no doubt in my mind that someone knows who this person is.”
The armed robbery took place late Sunday night at Short Branch Saloon in Neenah. A patron Kevin “Hollywood” Hein was shot to death.
