GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — Those who have had interactions with Green Bay Police within the past several months may soon be getting survey about their experiences.
It’s called the Police-Community Interaction Survey and Police Chief Chris Davis hopes to use the feedback to improve how police interact with members of the community and improve satisfaction.
“We want to know, how are we doing as an organization? Do we have the resources to spend enough time with people to meet their needs?” Davis said Wednesday.
The survey has been used in at least 58 different cities across the country.
“We’re trying to get out of the mindset of just showing up after the fact, taking a report, writing down all of the facts, and then moving on. We want to see if there is anything we can do to help them solve the problem,” Davis told WTAQ.
It’s going to be conducted via telephone, the call will come in from a 208 area code. Those selected should see those calls come in within the next few weeks.
