MARINETTE COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Marinette County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to search for the driver involved in a deadly crash Wednesday.
Thursday, the office released more information about the crash but revealed that one involved man is still missing.
The 53-year-old man who was found dead near the vehicle Wednesday was identified as Juaquin Sanchez. Sanchez had been living on Third Road in Beaver, where the crash happened, and working on a local farm.
Two other passengers — Jeremias Centeno, 28, and Jilberto Espinosa, 36 — lived with Sanchez and worked on the same farm as well. They were treated at a hospital and have been released.
The 40-year-old driver, Jose Santos Gurdian, also lived and worked with the other men.
The sheriff’s office believes Santos Gurdian survived the crash and fled.
Anyone with information about Santos Gurdian’s location is urged to call the Marinette Sheriff’s Office at 715-732-7627.
The investigation is still ongoing.
