WINNEBAGO COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – A woman charged with setting fire to the garage belonging to the father of her children is pleading not guilty.
26-year old Cassandra Choy waived a preliminary hearing on charges of arson and recklessly endangering safety for the incident back in May.
According to the criminal complaint, Choy left the home after an argument but later called the man to tell him she set the garage on fire. She reportedly admitted to lighting a box in the garage of their Omro home on fire. There was damage to multiple units, but no injuries were reported.
She returns to court on November 22nd, but no trial date has been set.
