GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – The Green Bay Area Public School District Board of Education is asking students, staff, parents and community members to identify the qualifications and characteristics that they believe are important for the next superintendent. They have identified two ways in which they would like to receive feedback.
- Superintendent Search Survey – students, staff, parents and community members are asked to complete a 7-10 minute online survey, which is provided in English and Spanish, and can be found on the District’s website (gbaps.org). The survey closes on Monday, November 11.
- Focus Groups – The Board’s consultant, Hazard, Young, & Attea (HYA) will be holding focus groups with multiple stakeholder groups. Community members will have two opportunities to participate:
o November 6, 2019, 6:00 p.m., Brown County Central Library, 515 Pine Street
o November 13, 2019, 7:30 a.m., District Office Building, Board Room, 200 S. Broadway
The Board of Education will use the feedback from the survey and the focus groups to create a Leadership Profile and the framework of a job description for the new superintendent. The District will continue to update its website at gbaps.org/superintendentsearch throughout the search process.
