GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – The new widened North Webster Avenue between University Avenue and Radisson Street is set to reopen to traffic today.
The City of Green Bay says the $13.3 million project upgraded and replaced underground utilities, repaved the road, and improved the railroad crossing near Eastman Avenue.
The city purchased and removed 24 homes to allow for new bike and pedestrian lanes.
An opening ceremony is set for this afternoon.
