GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – The community is teaming up to make a difference in kids’ lives.
Wednesday kicked off the first day of the annual give a kid-a-book campaign.
The program gives new, unwrapped books as holiday presents to low-income families.
The event also had some special guests, as seven Green Bay Packers Wives are helping lead the campaign.
Molly Crosby says, “I believe this campaign reflects what I believe about the children in our community. That everyone has god-given value and potential and that given the right resources they can flourish and thrive.”
Books donations will be collected at Nicolet National Banks in the greater Green Bay area and all Brown County Libraries through December 10th.
