GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — There are fewer and fewer chances to catch a regular season home game at Lambeau Field this year as the season gets closer and closer to its conclusion.
There are just two regular season home games left, and if you want to go on a budget, your window is closing.
“The Redskins game is affordable. We’ve got tickets starting at $70 to about $200 [a ticket],” Travis Loftus, a manager at Green Bay’s Ticket King, told WTAQ. “The Bears game we’re looking at right around $190 to around $400.”
The Packers are at home this Sunday against the fairly bad Washington Redskins, but the game against the arch-rival Chicago Bears is pricing higher not just because of the rivalry…
“Their fans always drive the market price up because they’ve got the ‘Chicago Money’,” Loftus said. “And both teams are doing well–or, the Packers are and the Bears are technically alive.”
Of course, Chicago is also just a quick three-hour drive from Green Bay, meaning Bears fans will travel easily.
The playoffs are definitely in the cards for the Green and Gold this year, and tickets to potential playoff games are being sold now online.
“We don’t know if we’re going to host a divisional or a wild card game. We’re starting at around $174 for a divisional round,” Loftus said. “If they are going to have a wild card round, my guess is prices will go down.”
