HERMAN, WI (WTAQ) — A public meeting is coming up this week in Shawano County on what to do about a problematic intersection. The intersection at Wisconsin 29 and County U has had 15 recent accidents.
“We’re trying to reduce and/or eliminate the crashes and improve the intersection operations,” WisDOT North Central Region Communications Manager Tegan Griffith told WTAQ. ” [We want] to make it a safer road to travel on.”
T-Bone accidents are common where WIS-29, a four lane road, and County U, a two lane road, meet.
The meeting will be held at Herman Town Hall this Wednesday starting at 6:00.
