TOWN OF CENTER, WI (WTAQ) – An Outagamie County school bus driver was hurt after a piece of equipment fell off the back of a construction truck.
It happened just after 7 this morning on Center Valley Road near County Highway PP in the town of Center.
Officials say the rebar struck the rearview mirror of the bus and went into a side window, smashing the glass.
The driver sustained minor injuries, described as abrasions and cuts.
The Freedom School District says students were on the bus at the time but no children were hurt.
Another bus was sent to the scene to bring students to school.
