FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Speeds reached up to 128 mph during a Sunday-morning car chase in Fond Du Lac county that ended with the arrest of a 17-year-old.
The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy attempted to make a traffic stop around 2:45 a.m. on Interstate 41 at Townline Road for a vehicle that was going 93 miles per hour in a 70 mph zone.
Speeds reached up to 128 mph during the chase. It ended when a deputy deployed a tire-deflation device, which caused the vehicle to come to a stop near Lost Arrow Road.
The female driver was taken into custody and was arrested on felony eluding, absolute sobriety, operating without a driver’s license, speeding, reckless driving and underage drinking.
