MADISON, WI (WSAU) — A new poll shows Wisconsin’s GOP primary for Governor is too close to call in the hours leading up to Tuesday’s vote.
The poll, conducted by Emerson College in Boston, shows former Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch with a two-point lead on businessman Tim Michels- 36% to 34%.
The two-point spread is well within the poll’s 3.5% margin of error.
The third candidate on the ballot, Tim Ramthun, polled 4th with eight percent support. Fourteen percent of voters were undecided.
The poll was conducted via phone between August 3rd and 5th. A total of 900 voters were polled.
