BROWN COUNTY, WI (WTAQ)- Brown County Sheriff’s Office says they responded to a call for an active shooter at the Brown County Community Treatment Center, but found out, it was a false alarm.
Sheriff Officials say the active shooter alert button on one of the center’s phones was pushed by human error.
Sheriff Officials say the incident proved that the alert button and law enforcement response was working like it was supposed to.
