NORTHEAST WISCONSIN (WTAQ) – A Milwaukee-based company with ties to our area has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
Bon-Ton Stores cites weak sales and $1-billion dollars in debt in making the move.
Last week, Bon-Ton announced that four Northeast Wisconsin Younkers stores are among 42 total locations that are set to close.
The company operates a total of 260 stores, seeing holiday sales fall 2.9% this year.
