KAUKAUNA, WI (WTAQ) – A Kaukauna paper mill caught fire Friday afternoon.
Firefighters were called to Expera Speciality Solutions at 600 Thilmany Rd. around 2:45 p.m.
Employees reported a fire in the ventilation system above one of the paper machines.
The company’s fire brigade had already begun to battle the blaze before firefighters arrived.
Officials say the fire spread in the ventilation system but was under control within a half hour.
