MINOCQUA, WI (WTAQ) – The Wisconsin DNR is investigating a crash in Minocqua that killed a former owner of a minor-league team.
48-year-old Jeffrey Royle was the majority owner and president of the Green Bay Bullfrogs and the Titletown Baseball Group.
Royle’s LinkedIn profile shows that he owned the team from 2006 to 2013.
Officers say Royle was traveling on Lower Kaubashine Road at the intersection of Camp Kaubashine Road when he crashed.
This happened just after 7 p.m. Tuesday.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
