Standoff Suspect Dead, Apparently of Suicide, in Fond du Lac County

FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Fond du Lac County man is dead, apparently by suicide, following a police standoff this morning.

It happened in the Town of Taycheedah at a home on Niagara Lane.

Authorities say the incident started as a domestic dispute at around 9:30 in the morning. The woman involved was able to escape the home.

Neighbors were told to shelter-in-place during the incident.
