GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — The President of the right-leaning MacIver Institute has a prediction as to how the August Republican Gubernatorial Primary race will go.
Brett Healy, appearing on WTAQ’s ‘Morning News’, says he believes the race will be close between former Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch and construction magnate Tim Michels.
However, he thinks one of the two has the edge.
“The candidate who wants it the most generally is the one who wins in the vast majority of cases, and Kleefisch has been working at this for years now,” Healy told hosts Matt Z and Rob Sussman.
Healy says whoever wins the August 9th primary will have an edge on Democratic Incumbent Governor Tony Evers, whose poll numbers have dropped in recent months.
