APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – Police have arrested an Appleton East High School student after he admitted to posting a bomb threat anonymously on a phone app.
18-year-old Forrest Grade was arrested on a felony charge of bomb scares.
Police say the threat was posted on February 2. After officials contacted the company behind the phone app, Grade was identified.
When investigators interviewed Grade, he admitted to creating the post.
Grade was released on a signature bond and is due back in court March 30.
