OCONTO COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – Authorities in Oconto County are looking for two suspects involved in the armed robbery of a gas station on Saturday night.
The Oconto County Sheriff’s Department says it happened at the Krist Oil station, 17215 Emma Lea Lane in the Township of Lakewood, around 9:15 p.m.
The suspects walked into the station, confronted the clerk with a knife and demanded all the money from the register. The clerk then removed the register from the drawer and put it on the counter.
The two robbers took only cash from the register before running away from the business.
Deputies say both suspects were wearing dark colored clothing that completely covered their body. One of the suspects was wearing a white “skull” type mask. The other suspect was wearing a ski type mask.
The suspects are both slender, one about 6’ and the other about 5’8”. Both suspects were wearing gloves.
