GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – An armed man was taken to the hospital after a tactical situation in Green Bay.
Police say the man locked himself inside a home in the 3400 block of Baywatch Drive, near Red Smith Elementary School, Friday afternoon.
Green Bay Police Chief Andrew Smith said they were called to the home by a concerned family member around 2:30 p.m.
The tactical situation ended just after 7:00 p.m. when police entered the home and found the man in the basement with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his leg.
Police say the man could face charges, including intoxicated use of a weapon.
