LAKE WINNEBAGO (WTAQ) – Another 23 sturgeon have been speared on Lake Winnebago.
Friday’s haul brings the season total on the lake to 597.
The largest fish brought in Friday was a 138.1 pound, 76-inch one claimed by Zachary Rauls of Fond du Lac.
The season runs through Sunday.
Another 297 fish were speared on the upriver lakes, but that season ended last week.
