DOOR COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – A 17-year-old Fish Creek boy charged with one felony count of Making a Terrorist Threat makes a Wednesday appearance in Door County court.
The judge says more time is needed to review Juan Jauregui’s mental evaluation.
Jauregui is accused of making a social media threat against Gibraltar High School last fall.
Prosecutors say Jauregui posted a picture on Snapchat of him holding a gun with the caption “don’t go to school today.”
Jauregui reportedly admitted to the crime, telling officers it was meant to be a joke.
Gibraltar Schools were put on lockdown until Jauregui was taken into custody at his mother’s house.
