GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ)- A New London man has been sentenced to 17 years in prison for a fentanyl overdose death.
27-year-old Tyler Kuhnke was convicted of supplying the drug to another man last year after the two were traveling to get heroin.
Police say both Kuhnke and the victim did not realize that the heroin was actually a potent form of fentanyl, but it was discovered that Kuhnke had slipped drugs to the same victim a year earlier.
Kuhnke was also sentenced to 8 years of supervised release.
