BROWN COUNTY, WI (WTAQ)- After seven years as Chief Deputy in Brown County, Todd Delain announced his plans to take the next step.
“Today, I am pleased to announce my candidacy for Sheriff of Brown County.”
Delain said school safety, drugs, and jail overcrowding are some of the issues he would focus on.
“My education, my years of experience, my work ethic and my dedication to the community in which I grew up, has prepared me for the challenge.”
Delain was joined by Sheriff John Gossage, and former Sheriff’s Dennis Kocken, Tom Hinz, Mike Donart and Leon Pieschek, who all stood behind Delain and endorsed him.
To have their endorsement is important because I know that they would not support me if they did not have the confidence in me.”
“I vow to continue to build upon the legacy of all the previous Sheriff’s.”
Delain has been Chief Deputy since 2011.
