GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Green Bay police are trying to figure out why the driver of a car hit at least two homes on the city’s west side Saturday afternoon.
Just after 4 p.m., a car lost control, crossed Ridge Road and headed east on the 1200 block of 9th Street.
The car traveled across at least six front yards hit a tree, porch and then a home.
Fire crews had to help fix a broken gas line that was sheared off when the house was shifted 11 inches off of its foundation.
The broken line caused some homeowners in the area to be evacuated.
Officials say two adults and one child were displaced.
Officers say after the crash, four people inside the car were taken to the hospital.
Police say no one, inside the homes, was hurt.
