OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – An Omro man charged with stalking and identity theft after posting fake ads online, drawing people looking for sex to a neighbor’s home, has been sentenced to 152 days in jail.
33 year old Michael Wilz pleaded no contest to stalking, while six other charges were dismissed.
Judge Scott Woldt also placed Wilz on probation for three years.
The co-defendant in the case, Julie Wittrock, is scheduled to stand trial June 19.
Police say in late October of 2017, Wilz and Wittrock posted sexual ads on Craigslist in Becky Drake’s name, inviting men to her home for sex.
Multiple people showed up at her door.
