ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ)- To help celebrate the teams 100th season, the Green Bay Packers have added a new exhibit to the Hall of Fame.
Packer CEO and President Mark Murphy said it gives a close look at the team’s roots.
“This exhibit is a real deep dive into our very first season in 1919.”
He said that year, the Packers had a pretty impressive season.
“They outscored opponents 565-12.”
The exhibit also features the original Ed Thorpe Memorial Trophy.
“That is the traveling trophy awarded to the winner of the NFL Championship back in the early days of the league.”
The exhibit also features a look back at each game of the 1919 season and bios on the teams founding forefathers.
The Packers have multiple events and features planned to celebrate their 100th season.
