DE PERE, WI (WTAQ)- Roof problems have been identified in the De Pere School District.
Two De Pere school gyms have sagging roofs from heavy snow.
The District Superintendent Benjamin Villarruel says it was noticed that the curtains in the high school gym were lower than normal, and quickly learned of the second school.
“We have a concern at Foxview Intermediate School that it might be experiencing a similar problem, so we have closed the gym and we will remove the snow and have an inspection by a special engineer.”
A similar procedure is scheduled for the High School gym.
Post-prom activities scheduled for Saturday in the gym may have to be moved.
