NEW HOLSTEIN, WI (WTAQ)- Officials are warning Calumet County campers of a wanted man who may be hiding there.
38-year-old Dallas Christel has been on the run since March.
He is wanted for second-degree sexual assault, strangulation, and suffocation.
Officials say he raped a woman during a domestic incident in March and is a repeat offender.
Investigators say Christel has ties to Michigan and Colorado but is most likely in Wisconsin, hiding in campgrounds.
His latest mugshot includes him with painted green hair and his body covered in tattoos that include stars, skulls, and spider webs.
Officials say, anyone who sees Christel, should contact authorities.
