FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ) – Police were sent to a two-vehicle crash with injuries, Monday just after 3 in the afternoon on Highway 23 at County highway C in Fond Du Lac County.
After stopping at a stop sign, a southbound car on Highway C went through the intersection and hit a semi on Highway 23.
The southbound car, driven by a 71-year-old Oakfield man, hit the passenger side of the semi, driven by a 31-year-old Eden man.
After hitting the semi, the car spun around and was hit by the rear tire of the semi.
The 71-year-old Oakfield man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the semi was not injured.
