ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK)- Ashwaubenon High School was one of 22 schools in the state to be awarded a development grant for a Fab Lab.
Governor Scott Walker paid a visit to the school to present the $25,000 dollars.
Fab Labs provide computer controlled manufacturing components. That includes 3D printers and computerized routers.

“You want to make sure the skills that our students are getting actually apply to the skills that are needed for positions in the region, here in Ashwaubenon and Brown County and throughout Northeastern Wisconsin,” Walker said.
He called Ashwaubenon’s lab and curriculum world-class.
