NEENAH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A new lighted crosswalk in Neenah was unveiled Monday outside Neenah Paper.
The city hopes the measure will make it safer for mill workers to cross Commercial Street.
Before, workers had to cross without any lights or restrictions on drivers.
Now, the drivers will have to stop when the light is red.
Workers need to cross the street to get to their parking lot from the mill.
The crosswalk project cost more than $80,000.
