GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — The 4th of July weekend is approaching and that’s leading people to stock up on patriotic supplies.
Stacey Stewart owns Fly Me Flag on Ashland Avenue in Green Bay and says this time of year is their Super Bowl.
“This year flag sales remain very strong, and I think that if you drive through neighborhoods you’re definitely seeing that,” said Stewart.
That’s in spite of the division in the country, which Stewart says hasn’t had an impact on pride.
“We see folks from all sides of the political spectrum still wanting to fly the American flag and really cherish all that it represents,” Stewart told WTAQ.
She says sales are as high now as they’ve been in previous years.
