LAWRENCE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – One man is dead after a crash that happened on I-41 southbound just south of Scheuring Road in the Lawrence area around noon Sunday.
Police say a 29-year old Green Bay man was traveling south on I-41.
The man lost control of his vehicle and hit a vehicle that was stopped on the right shoulder.
The man whose vehicle was stopped on the side of the road died at the scene. His name has not been released at this time.
Authorities believe alcohol and speed may have contributed to the to the crash.
Police say I-41 south from Scheuring Road to County Highway S was closed for hours as authorities reconstructed the crash.
The crash is under investigation.
