KAUKAUNA, WI (WTAQ) – No one was injured in a fire inside an enclosed construction trailer in Kaukauna Thursday.
Fire crews were called just after 4:30 p.m. to the trailer on Southerland Circle.
Firefighters say they saw the 20-foot enclosed trailer fully engulfed in flames and the walls were already consumed by fire.
The fire was controlled in 5 minutes.
The owner of the trailer said he was working inside with a small amount of gas, cleaning a part. He said he reached down and turned on a portable drill and the motor caused a small spark, igniting the gas he was working with.
The fire caused about $18,000 in damage.
