GRAND CHUTE, WI (WTAQ) – A suspect has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery in Grand Chute overnight.
Grand Chute police were called around 10:20 p.m. Friday for a report of an armed robbery near W. Metro Drive and N. Mall Drive.
Police say an Appleton man was walking on Metro Drive when a Milwaukee man, driving a car, pulled up behind him and demanded money while showing a handgun.
The suspect then fled the area. A description of his vehicle was distributed to surrounding law enforcement agencies.
The Neenah Police Department spotted the vehicle and followed it through Winnebago County on I-41.
Officers then used stop sticks to stop the vehicle. The man was arrested.
A 16-year-old was also in the car with the suspect.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
